Broseley Celebrates Its Volunteers –The Town Mayor, Cllr. Ian West, and Town Councillors hosted an awards ceremony at the Birchmeadow on Saturday 11 March. Councillors celebrated the contribution of Broseley’s dedicated volunteers and community groups, the awards recognised the exceptional individuals who are committed to making the Town a better place. These individuals have spent decades helping organisations and groups by supporting their community, we are extremely grateful that we have such an amazing bunch in Broseley. Thank you once again for all that you do!

As part of the ceremony the Shropshire High Sheriff, Selina Graham congratulated the Citizen of the Year, Sue Hodgettsand the Young Citizen of the Year, Dan Uptonand presented both winners with an award. They are both assets to the Town, and we are extremely proud that we have volunteers like Sue and Dan within our community.
