Located in the centre of town the library provides a local hub, with access to both the Library Service, Bookstart, information point and computers for residents and visitors to the town.

Library opening hours

Where the Library is closed on a bank holiday Monday, we will reopen on Tuesday following the bank holiday closure.
Digital Support for 65+
Lacking confidence with a mobile phone or tablet? Want to know how to make the most of being online? Broseley Library can offer you one-to-one sessions, beginning in January 2023, with one of our friendly, trained volunteers.

Local Family History Sessions
If you’ve always wanted to find out more about your family’s history, then why not book a one-to-one advice session, with our Local and Family History Research volunteer?
Every first Thursday including school holidays 10:15-11am for children under 5 years old.
Please book in advance with the Library Staff, Telephone 01952 884119 or call in to the Library.
Sessions will run on every 2nd Thursday of the month, between 11am – 12pm, on the following dates:
12 October, 9 November and 14 December.
The Daytime Readers will meet every 3rd Thursday of the month, between 11-12pm.
Friday Craft Club
Places are limited so, if you would like to join us you’ll need to reserve your place by speaking to a member of the library staff.
Why not join us every FRIDAY a.m. From 11-1pm for a friendly game?

Upcoming meet the Author events
Thursday 26th October – Author, Michael V.E. Dunn will be telling his story at 2.30 p.m
Why not join us for a fascinating talk about the iconic Caledonian Railway?
Mike has spent the last ten years researching material for his newly published book, “Caledonian Railway Miscellany”, which illustrates all aspects of the Caledonian Railway.
Signed copies of his book will be available for the special discounted price of £35.00. (Anyone wishing to purchase a copy will need to pay by cash or cheque.)
