Lacking confidence with a mobile phone or tablet? Want to know how to make the most of being online? Broseley Library can offer you one-to-one sessions,  with one of our friendly, trained volunteers.

Library Events

Bookstart Rhyme Time

Every first Thursday including school holidays 10:15-11am for children under 5 years old.

Please book in advance with the Library Staff, Telephone 01952 884119 or call in to the Library.

Books Aloud

Join us each month, from 11.00 – 12.00, for a friendly chat over refreshments and listen to stories and poems read aloud, in the welcoming and supportive atmosphere of fellow book lovers!

 Running on the following dates:

  Thursday 2nd May and Thursday 13th June.

Day Time Readers

The Daytime Readers will meet every 3rd Thursday of the month, between 11-12pm.

Friday Craft Club

Places are limited so, if you would like to join us you’ll need to reserve your place by speaking to a member of the library staff.

Come and find out:

  • How Dad’s Army prepared for invasion
  • How we ate and dressed on ration—see what you could (and what you couldn’t! ) get in exchange for your points and coupons!

An interactive talk by local Home Guard  re-enactors.

Operation Overlord: D-Day Landings from the French Side.

Come and find out how members of the French Resistance helped the allies to Victory, during and after the D-Day Landings.

An Interactive Talk by Local Maquis (French Resistance) Re-enactors at 7pm.

Refreshments will be available.

Roy Bradshaw – story time and writing workshop for children 7+ – 10.30 am
